Ag Energy Distributes Profits to its Membership

Ag Energy Co-operative Ltd. is pleased to announce the successful completion of Fiscal 2017 at its Annual General Meeting in Jordan Station, Ontario.

With its success, the Co-operative will distribute some of the Fiscal 2017 proceeds to its Membership in the form of:

  • $1,000,000.00 (One Million Dollars) Tax Deferred Preference Shares
  • 6% (six percent) dividend

Ag Energy Co-operative Ltd. was founded by the Ontario greenhouse industry in 1988. It is an independent, agriculturally focused co-op that specializes in energy solutions for its membership. Ag Energy’s role is to commercialize energy policy for the benefit of agriculture: producers, processors, agri-food, agri-tech and all; by minimizing costs and de-risking energy spend. Ag Energy currently has over 370 agricultural, agri-business and rural members; approximately 50% of its members are commercial greenhouse growers, 23% agri-processing and 11% agri-tech.
